For Ayla's 7th Birthday she decided she "wanted the animals to come to her house." I think she got the idea from watching Alexander and the terrible, horrible, no good very bad day. The little boy had a birthday party in the end with an Australian Petting Zoo. I had no intentions of hiring a surfboard simulator or inviting any Kanagaroo's to the house, but luckily we did have a great alternative. Ventura Wildlife brought their animals to our house and Ayla had a group of her classmates around to celebrate the day. I think it turned out to be a lovely day and most importantly the birthday girl had "the best party ever."
